Ancient City Soccer Concession Stand Operating Guidelines
- Minimum staffing: Recommended is three volunteers. Two should be adults. One must be responsible for cooking, the other to deal with cash and customer questions.
- Please try to limit the number of very young helpers, if you can.
- Morning shift is responsible for opening up: set up table outside with condiments, remove candy from refrigerator and place on the front counter, and make coffee.
- Morning shift please put the sponsor banners up on the fence by the U-6 fields if the field marshall is busy. The sponsors pay $500 each for a banner; this offsets the cost to operate our club, so let's get those banners up!
- Cooking of hamburgers and hotdogs should begin at 10:00 AM. On an average day expect to cook at least 40 hamburgers and 40 hotdogs.
- When wrapping hotdogs and hamburgers, you must use food preparation gloves.
- Afternoon shift should stop cooking at 2:00 PM. Afternoon shift is responsible for the clean up and closing of concession stand.
Note: A member of the concession steering team will unlock the concession stand in the morning, drop off the cash box, and assist with opening the stand. In the afternoon, a team member will help close up and remove the cash box.
